Dodge Celebrity Tournament Completes the Best Year Yet
April 20, 2008 (PONTE VEDRA, FL) "The course was great, the camaraderie was amazing to see and the new tournament format was a big hit for the celebrities," said John Congemi, the director of the Dodge Celebrity Tournament. "We wanted to focus more on the charity, Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, and raise awareness while having fun."
The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes, raises awareness for wounded and disabled military veterans, helping them rebuild their lives and their homes.
"It was extremely gratifying to support such an amazing charity," said Jim Lane, of Charitee Golf. He continued, "I especially wanted to thank Dodge for bringing these wonderful young people down for the tournament. We all learned so much from the veterans that played in the tournament. I was glad to have them as part of my team."
"I am delighted that we achieved our immediate goals for the initial year, said Axcess Sports and Entertainment’s president," Pierre D’Amours. "It was great to see everyone come together including all the work we did with the sponsors. We are look forward to continued success in the future."
